On March 9, 2024, Profili di donna, a remarkable group exhibition curated by Paola Malato and Pino Mantovani, opened at the Fondazione Amendola in Turin. For the first time, I am presenting a multimedia exhibition of my Land Art works created in Lucania, related to the projects Paesaggi in movimento (2013–2018) and Paesaggi Svelati. Attraversando luoghi, scoprire paesaggi (2020).
The exhibition spaces of the Fondazione Amendola proved ideal for showcasing the evocative works of my interventions carried out directly in the Lucanian landscape, also providing the opportunity to project videos from my journey of discovering these extraordinary landscapes. The works created on-site, where I used ultramarine blue pigment in dialogue with the materials provided by the location, are temporary in nature, intentionally non-invasive and non-dominant.
According to the philosophy underlying my artistic choices, an artwork does not provide solutions or answers but rather highlights the potential of a landscape as extraordinary as it is fragile—one that is threatened by any changes made without the right control and balance.
The exhibition continues until March 30.
